opening doors to learning

coaching

A recent piece of research from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development found that over 87% of UK training managers now use coaching skills and techniques to support their employees and manage their learning and development. Furthermore, a study by the International Personnel Management Association shows that where training plus coaching was compared to training alone, the combined approach increased productivity by 88% versus 22.4%.

As a training organisation, we have seen the corporate world change in many ways. For the average worker, over the past 15 years, they will have seen their workloads increase, the time allocated reduced and their performance goals rocketing. Individuals are required to work smarter, faster and have a diverse set of skills available in order to do their job effectively. Organisations must be able to get the most from their workforce. In order to do this, effective and efficient change must take place. To facilitate this change, at Adit Training, we feel in some cases that traditional training courses are not the answer. Coaching is our answer. Adit Training has been involved in coaching everyone from students to directors over the past 15 years and has found it to be an extremely effective learning technique.

Recently, our coaches have conducted coaching sessions in the following subject areas:

  1. Interview Skills
  2. Presentation Skills
  3. Appraisal Skills
  4. New Management Support
  5. Interpersonal Skills
  6. Work/Life Balance
  7. Personal effectiveness
